DIY: Necklace & Earring hangers

Yesterday I made a few hangers for my necklaces, because before these hangers I had no place for my necklaces. At least not where I could put them without getting tangled in.

I made this from a wooden frame. I had cut it into pieces, and used the long pieces of the frame.

I didn't paint it, but I packed it.;)

And those with dots are pushpins.

I had kept this round carton. It was part of a round box.

I nailed like 50 holes in it.

I nailed the holes in the upper part close together than the holes on the lower side. I did that because of the size of the earrings.

This is the same kind carton as the one before. But I use this one for my necklaces. The black dots are also pushpins.

Application for education

I am now finally finished with high school, because of that I had to search a college.

I had three choses. My first one was Artez, the second one was AMFI and the third one was KABK.
By each of those academies I had to do an application.

Artez

Here I had to made three design based on a theme, which I forgot (offcours). 

But I had to make three clothing lines for my muze. My muze was/is Scarlett Johansson. 

My muze had to make a little world trip. She went to Afghanistan, India and Japan. 

I had to consider the weather and the culture of those countries.

These are the designs I made:

Afghanistan

In Afghanistan you can't wear what ever you want when you go outside. You have to wear clothes that will cover you body completely. This is mainly because of the influence of the Taliban. 

I am inspired for this design by the traditional Afghan clothes. 

This is a traditional Afghan clothes, where I am inspired by some part of it.

India

Here I am inspired by the sari, which is a traditional Indian clothing.

Japan

And by the last design I am inspired by the traditional Japanese Kimono.

AMFI

The assignment by AMFI was to make with a 'fashiondoll' an accessories. You could only use second-hand stuff.  And the accessories I made is a handbag. And I had to make pictures with it, to show what I could do with the handbag.

And by this academy had to do the application there. We weren't allowed to take it with us.

That is why I don't have any pictures of it. 

Anddddddd I am accepted by .................  AMFI. 

I am very happy and excited but I am also scared because a whole new world is opened for me. 

We will see what will happen to me!

My High School works

This was my last year of my high school. I passed. So ... jeeeh:P. 
Now I finally can do what I want to do. What is AFMI, fashion academy. I will tell you about it another time. 


This time I want to tell you about my work at my drawing lessons. These are the most of my work which I am a kind of proud of it. 

The assigment by this work was tot chose a theme and than to make a collage of it. 

I chose romatic and made that possible with using soft colors and flowers and a really romantic church.

By this project we had to draw nude people with chalk.

This nude person is actually Britney Spears when she was pregnant. I cut off her head because who this person is isn't important for me.

By this project we had to combined two kind of artist. I chose Roy Lichtenstein and Victor&Rolf. 

There is no face, because I worried that if I made one it will ruin the whole painting. So I painted on another paper, and I was right. I was a disaster, that is why I didn't put it here.

The theme by this project was, I think, 'dressed, goes out'. I made this theme by making a process on a wrong way. So you see to story go back to the beginning when the girl gets ready for her date. 

At the end of my VWO 5 we had to make a final work. The theme was to combined an artist with you personality. I chose Piet Mondrian, and I combined it with fashion. But I did this on a wrong way, so told my teacher at the end. 

I had to begin all over again, which was really annoying. But I am proud on my final work. This is it:

By personal addition was the fifties, which I love.

My graduation work 2010/2011

This years theme was nature.

And by that theme there were several projects and I chose the one where you had to combine the garden and the house. You had to two choses, One you had to contrast the house with the garden. And the other was to make a house that was made in the same way as the garden. 

I chose the first one. I did that with making the garden as wild as I could and keeping the house classic and static.

I got a 7,5 which I am very proud of it.

My Christmas shopping part 2 of 2

In Holland there are two Primark. One is in Rotterdam, in Alexandrium, and the other one is in Hoofddorp, which is just a few weeks open. The one in Hoofddorp is 30 minutes away from Amsterdam and is much bigger than the one in Rotterdam.

Few weeks ago I gave my best girlfriend, Kimberly, for her birthday a train tickets and I also bought one for myself. My idea was to go together to Primark with those tickets but because of the weather we couldn’t go. So we planned a  new date, which was at the end of January. But I couldn’t wait so long so I convinced my brother to drive us to there with the idea that we will have a shopping day in Rotterdam. We went there with my mom, brother, sister. We only wanted to go to Primark, but my brother and my mom didn’t knew that (hihi). Because if they did, my brother wouldn’t bring us there. So… 

If we had the time I didn’t mind to go to other stores but we were in Primark from 12.00pm till 16.30pm. And that’s a lot of hours to spend at one store. And still we weren’t finished with Primark but my mom didn’t feel good and my brother started to nag. After that we went to La Place, V&D, to eat something and later on we went home with a lot of big bags filled with Primark clothes.

My christmas shopping part 1 of 2

My first time that I shopped in this Christmas vacation was in Oberhausen. It was my first time in Oberhausen and at first I wasn't excited because I didn't knew what kind of stores there where. But after I saw Pimkie I was excited. The most of clothes that I bought are from Pimkie. After that I was angry at my self that I spend al my money (that I had with me) at clothes from Pimkie I saw Zara. But in this vacation I didn't go to Zara. And I really regret that. But... what ever. I went to Primark. Which I will tell you al about in part 2.

 

 

Petit Fours

Before my vacation started, my bestfriend and I made these petit fours for desert after an evening gourmet with the girls.We used basic cakes recipe and four different tastes and decorations.This is the result:

Hi everyone, it’s been a while. Sorry for that.

Few week ago my mom just came back from her vacation in Afghanistan. And off course she had gifts with her from my aunts. And these are it:

I prefer to wear this one with black jeans or legging and a black shirt beneath it. It's like a christmas dresses for me, because it got glitter al over the dress.
